Tom,
On the 6th you said it was terrible and not to waste your time. Now you are saying you are limiting out on Silvers? Come on man. Stop with the games.....
9/8/2010 - Tom - Carbon River, Pierce County, WA
Whoa is all I got to say, whoa. I was able to fish a few hours before work this morning and I came home with my limit of Silvers. How do you post pics here???? Everyone was gettin limits. Be careful where you park, people will get tickets!! Fish are holding close in guys, think spawning bass. I was using a combo of corks to match a fire tiger plug. Size 8 and size 10. Yellow and red and black yarn. You don't need long leaders boys and girls. These fish are so agressive hang on is all I got to say. Kings are all over too. I wish people would report the truth and sayin there aren't fish. Because me and my 2 buddies have almost filled our catch cards in 2 weeks!!! Well look in my freezer!! ha ha ha!! Fish on!!

9/6/2010 - Sucky YEAR - Carbon River, Pierce County, WA
Fished the Carbon from 10 to 12 pm just below the water treatment plant -NADA! I sound like a broken record, it's the same ol' sappy story not only for me, but for several people...I have to admit, the hype this year was wonderful however, the results are horrible! I can't seem to hook on any fish, nor have I seen any...by this time last year, I was limiting out everyday, this year, I'll be luck to even see any. Oh well, I'll still be at it though, good luck to all you fellow fisherman, cause your going to need it!
9/7/2010 - mark scott - Puyallup River, Pierce County, WA
Went back down to the puyallup in sumner this afternoon finally hooked up on a nice king. Turned out the guy above me hooked it to before me so he says, so he took it
9/7/2010 - wetwaders - Puyallup River, Pierce County, WA
Fished McMillan, saw one roll, not on the beach. Went up to the mouth of the Carbon, nothing. Drove up to fish the Carbon and still not a thing. I had a king yesterday...today is dead!
9/6/2010 - BenP - Green River, King County, WA
Fished the bend on the Green below Flaming Geyser for trout. I didn't hook into any, but did have a small trout chase the spoon in towards shore. Just below the beach I saw another small trout rise in the pool just below the tail-out. It was nice and quiet. Quite enjoyable. Good luck to all those willing to risk the madness to combat fish with the others on the Puke and its 'Carbon' copy.
9/7/2010 - SophmoreAngler - Skokomish River, Mason County, WA
Skok is really slowing down. Landed 2 nasty looking kings around 7am. Few silvers are in, but are small. Give it 2 weeks.
9/7/2010 - triple nickel - Nisqually River, Pierce County, WA
Spent 2 1/2 hours on the squally this a.m. saw one fish on but not landed...A few fish rolling and jumping but not biting... I threw everything in the tackle box at them but they were more interested in spawning...Last week I had a hit on a plug coated with scent I casted but not this week...When I left there were only a handfull of die-hards left...Maybe next time...Good luck to all...

9/6/2010 - Tom - Carbon River, Pierce County, WA
Fished from 0900-1200. This entire river has changed. All of the holes are gone and this river now consumes your fishing gear. Didn't see any fish roll or caught. Used all different colors and combinations. Only thing I caught was a hole in my pocket from all the gear I lost. Don't waste your time!
9/6/2010 - Tom - Puyallup River, Pierce County, WA
I fished from 7am-9am. Nothing! I used all different corky/yarn combinations and scent. Didn't see any caught nor did I see any rollers. Where are all the fish this year?

9/6/2010 - Fishwhspr - Nisqually River, Pierce County, WA
Fished nisqually this morn from 1 hour b4 daylight. No takers on the glow. Seen one dark foul hooked king taken. Not sure but seems like theres not alot of silvers in yet.
9/6/2010 - mark scott - Puyallup River, Pierce County, WA
Spent over $500 on fishing gear this season havent caught a dam thing on the puyallup, had better luck with my spongebob pole last season.
9/7/2010 - Osprey - Samish River, Skagit County, WA
Samish River is fishing full force for chrome Kings averaging in the upper teens to low 20's. Best luck is at low tide so check the charts for Padilla Bay/Swinomish Channel area.
I use 25lb main line and leader, 1/0 hook, dead drift eggs. Bring a stout rod so you can yard'em in quick. This is not a sport fishery, it is a meat fishery. If you've never experienced combat fishing, well this is it. Follow the regs and be kind to your fellow anglers.
East side river access is by permit only. Bring your best attitude, some of the locals get pretty grumpy cuz they think it's their own private fishery. Remember guys, it's just fishing. Good luck!
9/6/2010 - Bad_andy - Carbon River, Pierce County, WA
saw a few caught but only one good hit then went down to the puke and caught a few down by mcmillin
9/6/2010 - The Man - Nisqually River, Pierce County, WA
plenty of turned Kings. Seen a couple of Silvers (one looked to be about twenty pounds). The MPs let em get in today only to get em on the way out. Think before you fish. That turned King can land you in jail or get ur heap towed. Good Luck!
The Man
9/6/2010 - j.b. - Carbon River, Pierce County, WA
tackled the carbon today, got 7# silver at rock bank. counted 85+ people at one point below voights creek, too many for me. saw many kings on only a handful landed.
9/5/2010 - fishr10 - Skagit River, Skagit County, WA
slow, saw no one catch any thing, got one small trout tho on my last cast.
9/5/2010 - fishr10 - Samish River, Skagit County, WA

9/6/2010 - tim - Carbon River, Pierce County, WA
fished the carbon down below voights creek about 75 people their this morning saw about 20 fish hook ups and about 15 of those were kings that were landed saw 1 small silver nothing for me or my buddy though
9/6/2010 - toker - Nisqually River, Pierce County, WA
hooked three last night, two today, from 5 am to around 12 or so. river took all my stuff, that current sucks.
9/5/2010 - Huntere - Skokomish River, Mason County, WA
Started fishing around 3 p.m. on the Skok and their were nobody in our normal spot. Caught a 10lb hen in the first 5 minutes with a bead and yarn. There were some in their but was not biting on my bobber and bait. Then when it started to get dark I landed 3 out of 4 kings with a green corky and yarn. One was a wild 17lb hen, a dark 12lb buck, and another fresh, chrome hatchery 15lb hen that I kept. So I finally got my limit with lots of eggs. Next up, COHO! Good Luck!
9/5/2010 - fishin fool - Puyallup River, Pierce County, WA
Fished downstream from the kmart from 11:00 to 3:00. Saw two lost. One 10# king and one 4# silver taken. Then I took a 6# silver. Fished for another hour and then had to defend my cath from three determined seagulls. Fish at the 115th street from 5:00 to dark. Nothing happening there, no fish no rollers nothing.
9/4/2010 - Sucky YEAR - Carbon River, Pierce County, WA
Fished the Carbon from 2-6pm, no bites no hits. Of the +25 people there, seen only 1 king caught which appeared dark and was approximately 15 lbs. It's been quite disappointing, there seems to be no fish in the river. Been fishing the Puke since the 15th and was hoping to catch my first there as well as the Carbon however, still fishless up till today. This blows!!!
9/5/2010 - Garland - Puyallup River, Pierce County, WA
Fished east side of 167 bridge from 8 am to 12:30. At least 50 fishermen spread out along this area. Only two silvers cought all morning, fun but slow. Rain coming and so is better times. See you on the river, and good luck to you...
9/4/2010 - ISLANDER77 - Nisqually River, Pierce County, WA
fished the nisqually from noon to about 5 pm. used what everyone else has been using. black and green, black and purple, hot red and other mix and matches. no luck, seems like everytime i got snagged the fish knew and would jump out in front of me. all in all, saw about 20+ fish taken and lots more lost. try the tressle or on the campgrounds by the boat launch, go up to the island. good luck and tight lines for all!
